what is everyone using this spring?? :OGturkeyhead:
--Glenda green bag and GG seat
--Glenda Green bag and gobbler lounger
--Vest
--blind and chairs
--other?
My son is taking my GG inflatable seat, and I will be using my Glenda Green minimalist bag and gobbler lounger most season I think. Sitka vest hanging up in closet for now...
I use all the items listed and a few more ...
Am$%^& ---- Gootium Canvas Messenger Bag - Vintage Crossbody Shoulder Bag Military Satchel and an early 90's mossy oak vest (this one is just because....It would feel left behind, like it wasn't wanted anymore).
Glenda Freen minimalist in Greanleaf
Random camo cushion that I found in the closet that I clip to my belt via carabiner.
I was skeptical of the setup last year, but worked fine and never ran into any significant issues.
K&H run and gun 200 with the gun and blind and chair with the bow
Glenda Green Satchel and seat. This is my 4th season with it and I just don't see me going any other way.
I keep two vests in my truck during season. My fox vests for decent weather days and an old Tom for less ideal conditions. The old Tom is made of more of a nylon material that handles water better. Also the only wooden calls in that vest is a striker. A Corian or acrylic pot, wingbone or juma trumpet and some diaphram calls round it out.
GG seat and bag along with old tactical tater vest and gobbler lounger.
I went to this setup last year and probably will be with it a long time.
Trophyline Platow pack with an academy gamewinner folding seat clipped into the top clips. It holds my calls, binos, thermacell, gloves, mask, extra shells, a snack, and water with no issues. It is quiet to slip off when I get to where I want to setup. It carries like it is not even on my back when I am moving.
If the hunt turns into a game of cat and mouse, then I just leave the pack and seat in the middle of an opening where I can find it and go on hunting with a cane yelper around my neck and my Bobwhite.
Prior to the Platow, I used an Alps satchel/bag that I liked a lot as well. It is lite, doesn't hold too much junk, yet holds just what I needed.
