I didn't see any posts about the auction and it doesn't look like Mossy Oak promoted it much but they auctioned off the rest of the FOX vests that had the matching calls last weekend online. The cheapest one went for $15,000.00 and the most expensive went for $18,000.00. I know that is a lot of money for a turkey vest and some calls but I thought they would go for more than that after the $31,000 one that got auctioned off in Nashville a few years ago.
Wow, that's incredible! Some folks got them deep pockets, and I imagine some of that money will go back into conservation programs, so good on them.
Not the 'rest' but 5 more correct. Still 4 more out there from the Top 10. Also heard the $31K vest did not come with any calls and if so those calls are still out there too.

That $31,000 vest number was an ego display plain and simple. I used to be the chairman of our local Ducks Unlimited chapter and have been to a bunch of DU, NWTF and RMEF banquets. Once a couple of big ego guys get going it's fun to watch the stupid run rampant.
The guy who bought the Vest worked while going to college for Mossy Oak and bought the vest that year at the NWTF Convention.
I'd rather have a new tractor.

As I understand, the other 4 are owned by the family so that was the rest of the 10 that had the matching calls.

That is right. That is why I am surprised they did the auction online. I would think they would have raised more money if they did them live in Nashville.
If the other 4 are "owned" by the family then that's a problem, mainly because that is NOT what was communicated to the callmakers when they were asked to make the 10 call sets, terms in which they agreed to
The callers in those vest are amazing!

I don't have any inside information but I thought in one of the videos they said that the first three or four were for members of the family and were not going to be sold. I could be mistaken.
I fully get the auction price is for fundraising and not what they are really worth, but I would bet whoever paid that much for them is probably still on here complaining about the price of tss!
