Many guys on here are super knowledgeable. Give great, well thought out advice. Maybe it'd be neat to give props to some of these guys. The man I say I have the most respect for, not only in sharing, but in putting together fantastic responses is Gobblenut.
See if you all can top that one!! . Be fun to hear others thoughts and imo it'll show appreciation.
Guys I've been at this a long time but we can all learn from each other. Great forum
The guys that constantly comment with good quality stuff and are knowledgeable that I have learned tid bits from are Greg Massey, Tom007, and Zelmo. Great group of guys

Gee, Bowguy, thanks for the kind words...and I'm glad you didn't bring up the bribe money I gave you. ;D :angel9:
As for the guys on OG that need to be recognized, well, the list is long and I would surely leave off folks that should be on it if I was to try. I will say there are many fine individuals in this brotherhood (and sisterhood). I feel privileged to be a part of it. :icon_thumright:
Jim
You owe me 2 bucks Gobblenut!!
You're correct many great guys on here and those named so far are but a few.
Way to go Bowguy!!! We're never going to be able to live with GobbleNut after you giving him so much credit. :TooFunny: :TooFunny:
Honestly, I agree with you 100%. GobbleNut was the 1st to come to mind when I read your first post. His posts are well thought out and insightful.
Like all ready stated there are alot great people that contribute a wealth of knowledge. Along with those mentioned above, I will add Eggshell and Yoder 409 to the list.
Silvestris for sure...I've known him for a long time on a certain Mississippi forum. He's the textbook definition of a turkey HUNTER.
Agreed on All the above mentioned! Thank you to all that make this a great place to visit with the knowledge and positivity you all provide.

Scott, your too kind. You should be on the list, lord knows your contributions on here are worthy of that for sure. This whole group has sure made me a better turkey hunter. Thank you all for your continued conversations!

Amen, not only does Gobblenut spew a wealth of turkey knowledge, it's the way he comes across that makes it special. As mentioned earlier, Greg Massey and I'll add Turkeybutt have been very informative to me regarding call collecting. Can't thank them enough! Great thread.
Also, Let's not forget the generosity of those who donate great prizes for the OG community as well.

That's a very good point too
I have a lot of respect for the people here for their kindness, generosity and the knowledge they share.
Some that standout are: Greg Massey, Tom007, Gobblenut, and EZ.
Let's not forget Shannon Kelly and his wife for the work they do to maintain this Forum.
It would be remiss of me not to mention Crow, Tal and most certainly ChiefBubba.
Thank you all!

X10, all the guys who donate and all that buy the patches to keep this train rolling. What the heck would we do all winter long without this site. Thank you Shannon!

I want to mention I was lucky enough to hunt with Zelmo in the Florida swamps a few years back. You really see what a guys like when you hit the woods with him, he's on his game with every facet in our sport. There isn't a turkey that's safe when he's out there. We now have a lasting friendship that will get us out afield again I'm sure. Top notch guy!

Agreed. I was a member of that same forum. A lot of the MS guys moved on here after that place went dead.

What a great topic of discussion. I have learned much from every one mentioned so far and continues to learn as time passes. Of course I was an empty vessel of turkey knowledge to begin so it may have been an easy task

Well, much appreciated, sir. Not sure I'D have picked me, but..... :goofball:
Let the record show, I DID NOT pay Pete to say that. Pretty sure my mom didn't pay him, either. :z-twocents:

Agree 100%, Eggshell and Yoder contribute things that only pioneers of our sport can convey.
I would say most that popped into my head have been mentioned. I always like a thoughtful reply and GobbleNut and GregM are definitely tops on the list for me in that regard. Even though Silv can be a little, um, direct, in his posts, I always value his insights. I like Mark's thoughts too.
