how are his calls....specifically his copper....worth 250 plus?
Interestingly enough, I got two of his copper pots last week. I ordered one for myself and my wife ordered one for me after seeing me looking at them, but not knowing I ordered one. They both sound great. They do sound like two different birds since they are two different types of wood. I don't think you'd be disappointed with one. As for looks, they are both beautiful.
He produces some good stuff .... well worth having
I only hunt 3 pot calls. I made one of them. Red made one of the others.
Red is a TOTALLY good dude and he makes an OUTSTANDING pot call.

I've always found smaller pots way easier to control. I bet his sound file is fantastic.
I've got one and it's deadly!

The Turkey Tailgate in West Point is coming on up. He was their with a good many calls last year. Gonna buy a copper pot if he's their again. He's a cool fella and makes some beautiful calls.
I decided to order one of his copper calls in Rosewood, I'm really excited to get it. He makes so beautiful calls. I was hoping to get a bobcoyte but the one I wanted was gone. Can't wait to hear it and hunt with it this spring.
I have a copper over glass in a Macassar ebony pot and it's pretty incredible. The yelps and clucks are great, but the soft talk is absolutely out of this world.
