Many of you were not able to go to Unicoi this year, and still others know may not know who Mr. Dan is. So, I picked up an extra trumpet (got several other calls from him as well) while at the show to bring back to sell on here for just that reason. If you do not know Dan Harris - he is one of the finest gentlemen that you will ever meet. A true class act. He is from Texarkana, Texas and has a table at Unicoi each year where he sells some mighty fine calls, including some fine longboxes along with his trumpets. Last year he won the 1st and 4th place in the Yelper open Trumpet division (Category 15) in Nashville at the NWTF. His trumpets draw super easy!
Anyway - here is the chance for someone to get a really nice piece of Cocobolo wood trumpet from Dan with a Juma MP. It will almost play itself. The lanyard is the one of Steve's Bryan's new adjustable lanyards with the barrel knots (He makes a great lanyard by the way!!). I'm going to throw in one of Irving Whitt's Trumpet cases just because a lot of folks may not know about them either.

Dan makes killer calls, love my trumpet and 2 Long boxes of his I've got. He's also a great guy. Beautiful trumpet right there.

I usually delete these listings once the call sells, but will leave this listing up so that others can see the call. That was the only reason that I sold the call - to get Mr. Dan more exposure. Just felt led to do it. I will have to get him to replace this one at some point because I really like him and his calls and will miss this little trumpet.
Just so others will know, I plan to offer another trumpet on here within a day or so to get another gentleman from Unicoi some exposure on his trumpets just as we did today for Dan Harris. So keep an eye out if you missed this one and did not get to go to Unicoi and are wanting to get a trumpet call at a fair price.

Dan Harris is fantastic.
I was able to pick up a mud cured Osage trumpet from Dan at Unicoi. It is fantastic and as easy to run as other calls at a much higher price point. Would absolutely recommend.

I am pleased with the response to this. ALOT of folks have reached out and are considering getting a trumpet from him. I will say this - it could not happen to a better man. Mr. Dan is the real deal.
Let me close out on here by saying this - his calls draw as easy as any of the trumpets that I have in my collection, and I have quite a few. And if you call him - you won't find a nicer gentleman to talk with while you work out getting yourself a call.
Check out his long boxes as well - his are as good as any and his prices are super fair.
I picked up one of his hen boxes @ Unicoi this yr. Absolutely one of the finest gentlemen you can meet! Plan on looking at his trumpets in Nashville.
Talked to Dan yesterday and put in an order for a mud cured osage. He has one left from Unicoi he said.

Just wanted to say I received this call today and I'm very impressed with how easy it is to run and it sounds phenomenal!! I have several from high quality makers and it will run with any of them! I definitely will hunt it this spring. If anyone doesn't have one from him don't hesitate to reach out and get one from Dan you will not be disappointed!
