Title: I know it’s not turkey….
Post by: nhtrkhntr on February 01, 2026, 02:43:23 PM
Something I have gotten into this last year has been working on my ability to shoot my rifles well.
I always just put my deer rifle in a lead sled, shot 3 rounds to make sure I was on...
I bought a Ruger American in 6.5 Creedmoor, put an Element Optics Helix scope on it, and put it in an MDT chassis.
She shoots sub MOA at 100 yards!
Then, I went and got a Tikka T3x lite in .308.
Both guns shoot EXTREMELY well. I practice off a bipod and rear squeeze bag, and I have found I am obsessed with bench shooting!
Also, the ATF has my suppressor application, and hopefully an approval is coming soon!

Those Ruger Americans gen 1's are damn accurate.  Especially suppressed.  Was gonna say they're pretty inexpensive but once you replace that stock.  Inexpensive goes out the window.

Just like you I love bench shooting it's fun to see what you can really do and hit at different ranges if you have the space.
