CVA has a new 28 ga coming it's the Scout Spur, available now ... Has anyone seen or purchase one?
I wonder how the trigger pull / creep is on this gun.........
I have a Scout in 45/70 and the trigger is quite good. (and that's coming from someone who's not really a fan of CVA)

I was a little surprised by the weight and price of the 410 Scout Spur, 6.7lbs and $544. I'm sure it's built like a tank.
They do seem well built but zero chance I'll carry a single barrel that weighs as much as my Franchi. The ATI Nomad 28 does the job just fine for far less weight and $.
Intriguing little gun! Love my Henry 20 ga

If it's like my 44 mag Scout, trigger will be around three pounds. Review This Thing had a short video on it today on YouTube. Their sample had a 2.5 pound trigger if I remember correctly.
Sure wish it had a 3" chamber.
EuroOptic has the CVA 28s available for pre-order. I saw CVA say yesterday that the will start shipping them next week to gun stores.
I think I might need one! Lol
Ridge Rooster
I got one and absolutely love it.
Ive have the scout 410, had it for a couple seasons now and it has been great!
Ive never owned a 28, so when they came out with this, I had to have it.
The gun is so small and maneuverable. Feels like carrying a Red Ryder through the woods!
Trigger is perfect, no creep, just like my 410.
The gun is stout, barrel is thick, and the gun feels like quality.
Shot it yesterday and it patterns wonderful.
Put an I.C. 525 and shooting Rocky Ridge 8/9 blend, 1 5/8oz
Ill be putting it to work down in FL next weekend!
Handled one the other day at my local gun store. Heavy little joker but the trigger is dang good, about all you could ask for out of a shotgun trigger imo.
