Title: New Remington (remarms) question
Post by: kytrkyhntr on January 15, 2026, 10:58:01 AM
really interested in checking out their new stuff. I saw some photos of the field master and wingmasters and I want to hold one.

Has anyone physically seen one on a shelf? anywhere near my location doesn't even have the ability to order them let alone let me check one out.

the photos i saw of the wingmaster model looked like a solid reproduction of a classic.

any info? my location is central kentucky so if you know of a nearby gunstore that has them let me know. i tried all the big ones around me

The ones I've seen were pretty nice.  Those were all field masters.

Think they're pretty much done again.
Haven't seen new models in stores for at least a year.

I saw some with wooden furniture a year or so ago. But, I've just searched all my usual places.  Found one place that has the Fieldmaster Synthetic in 12 ga 26" barrel.  It is not in your Kentucky vicinity.

I wouldn't get too used to the new Remarms.  From what I have been told, they have some pretty major issues as a company.

thanks for the responses. wouldnt mind picking up a synthetic one to beat up and a wingmaster to put back for my son. oh well i guess theyll miss out on a sale. their email response team is pretty sorry, seemed as though i was reading a text from a middle schooler when i emailed them. i asked 2 questions

1. Are there currently production of left handed models? or plans to do so?

2. May i have an up to date dealer list?

their response was as read

good morning,
no we are not producin left handed guns.

Holy crap, that's TERRIBLE. It's heartbreaking what this one-time American INSTITUTION has become. Geez.

I am actually going to pick up a 20 gauge feildmaster this afternoon. There is a pawn shop in Monticello, FL that had 3 of them as of yesterday. Now they are down to 2 at most.

Have you checked with Uncle Lee's in Greenville? It would surprise me if they didn't have or could get you one. Of course it's been 15+ years since I've been in their store.

I seen a field master with a rifled slug barrel in a LGS in middle TN. It looked good.

Ran across another new Fieldmaster in a small, local shop up here in PA.

Kinda a long ride from Kentucky.

I ordered a couple of 12 gauge Fieldmasters off of Buds Guns online a couple years ago.  One for me and my son to duck hunt with.  You may want to look online.  I don't think I have seen a brand new one in a store anywhere.
