Title: 16ga.
Post by: Seminole Custom Calls on January 12, 2026, 11:20:07 AM
I recently inherited my grandads Browning sweet 16 and id like to try and tag a bird with it this spring.. With that being said im a little hesitant to shoot tss through it and im sure if I tested enough I could find a lead load that would be suitable. Im just curious if anyone else shoots 16ga and had any recommendations. Im fully expecting to be 30 yards and under with the factory full barrel.
Thanks Ben. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20260112/3cbc6cff696f9ad7f4aff0e7dcf444bf.jpg)

I killed one last spring 35 steps with Apex number nine TSS in a Remington model 11 16 gauge made in the 30s no issues shot one to see how it patterned then the next one was at a bird needed to check 16 off my bucket list
