Title: Jackalberry Ebony
Post by: GregGwaltney on October 29, 2025, 11:46:28 AM
This is a first for me, pretty cool piece of wood, Jackalberry/African Ebony with some figure. This stuff is very dense and sounds excellent. Color is very unique for Ebony as well, fun project.

Thanks bud, I am working at it, I tend to sleep a lot right now, I would imagine the oxygen going to my C-Pap machine helps in the healing. I feel better having the C-Pap, I did not have it in the hospital. Saw doc on the 29th and she is very happy the way it is healing up, two more weeks with the Wound-Vac hooked up to me anyway, can't wait to get that tether off. Thanks for asking.

It is an African Ebony, so a bit denser/heavier than Persimmon. It does have similar colors though, both nice looking to my eyes.
