Here's a Yelper I finished up yesterday for a fellow Pennsylvania hunter. The wood came off his place and the bone bead is from a late fall Jake I called up after my older dog Del broke the flock up years ago. Thanks for the look.

Very nicely done!!! Black walnut is a fine wood for making trumpet yelpers; and when you can find some with a little figure like this one, that's even nicer. I'm sure the owner will be more than pleased with what you were able to do with his piece of wood.
