Real nice one too!
Up to $690 bucks. Worth even more! You know what's gonna happen here, the supply of these calls is going to diminish even further. Shannon is very busy making fantastic duck calls, it's becoming a very successful business for him. I know I would not sell any of his pushpins realizing the opportunity to replace it might never happen. I wish the seller the best of luck, I hope he doesn't regret it.
Its the sellers property, and like mentioned before they can hunt with it , or do what they please , it is their property - with that said i have in all these years of building calls came to the realization , that I will concentrate my business model/efforts on making the best SOUNDING call and , let the call do the talking for me (same as when hunting )
The push pin calls have (i say this with HUMBLENESS) become desired, this truly flattering for me personally- the down side ...i can't make enough of them. And people have caught onto the secondary market is a profitable venture - the double down side ...I can no longer afford to neglect a red hot duck call business , and sell grossly underpriced pushpins to the public knowing full well a good majority of them end up being traded and sold for personal gain
The triple down side ...even my wife knows full well what they go for on ebay - the asking price for when I do will have to , will be matching the rate I EARN doing other things i will not be robbing Peter(duck calls ) to pay Paul (call flippers ) , and thats a big "IF" because of time constraints from the duck calls ...be advised if you are flipping a turkey call of mine , and you think that they will be easy to aquire again , that is a pure fantasy cause all the factors i just mentioned for real - once the call is gone , it will likely be the last one you ever see , i cannot promise or commit that a sizable production run of these will take place in the foreseeable future-
I hope everyone is listening
My suggestion if you have one you better keep it, getting another one is probably going to be impossible in the future.
Well darn it now I should've bought that one yesterday but was hoping to snag one from OG himself some day. Looks like I may have missed my shot.

The one that is still on EBay is up to $700 now. Ends in 8 hours.
Ending bid I believe was $1300

I appreciate Shannon's graciousness on this issue, again...
But as someone (and I know there are many of us out there) who just wants one to hunt with and keep forever and hand down to my kids; it really makes me mad to see these sold on eBay.
Shannon just listed several legitimate reasons why he is less motivated to put more of these calls out there. I won't speak for him or guess what he feels, but if I were him it would bother the crap out of me every time one of these calls sells like this.
Of course this is a free country and anybody has the right to do what they want.
But I disagree strongly with the sentiment that we shouldn't be criticizing these sellers. I think it's a lousy thing to do.
I also know that the sellers are often members on here and have even responded to some of these posts. I'm not trying to suggest they are ALL selfish, or call flippers, or bad guys. But I absolutely am suggesting that for whatever their reason for selling these calls on eBay at a HUGE profit, the end result is you screw the rest of us by making it less likely that any of us will get one in the future.
I know for sure people will disagree and give me crap for this. And part of me wants to just shut up and keep this to myself (because maybe it's none of my business). But this is atleast the 3rd one sold recently that I've been aware of. And I just want the opinion out there that it pisses me off, and I think it's crap. It also seems like it's not motivating the call maker to put more out there. And I don't think I'm alone in this. Sorry but NOT sorry.
And for anyone out there thinking well who is this guy anyways? I've been a member on here since like roughly 2013 (had to change my name slightly once because I lost my password), I don't post very often, but I read stuff frequently and I use everyone's knowledge and opinions on here all the time. This forum is awesome, and I do have a lot of respect for everyone on here. But if these folks selling the calls have the right to do that, then I have the right to highlight how I don't like it because I think it negatively impacts me personally.
I've been within 30 seconds of getting one of these calls on here, but it's so hard to be any faster. The idea that I might get beat out by someone who might just sell it later irritates me greatly. FANTASTIC for the sellers making a nice chunk of change, but super unhelpful to the rest of us.
End of rant.

I agree with everything you said, I think in the long run it just screws over the ones just wanting a good call to hunt with.

X 4...... I also agree with everything you said in your post...
X5. I respect Shannon and what he has accomplished with this forum and his Pushpin business. When I heard his tutorial around his pool years ago on YouTube demonstrating his Pushpin, I was hooked! Nothing IMO sounds as realistic as the OG PP. I am fortunate to own his calls, and will never sell them. They changed the game for me in the turkey woods, no doubt. He should be proud of the dollars that they are bringing on Ebay, they are worth every penny. The quality, sound, and very limited supply dictate how much dedicated hunters are willing to pay for the opportunity to buy one. They are going to get harder to get, the demand and supply will dictate this moving forward. All I can offer here is those who own one, treasure it and those who want one, jump on the next opportunity. Lord knows, it could be your last shot. Be safe, have a great summer!
Let me start by saying that i think everyone has a right to keep, use or sell their calls as they see fit. I may not like it but this is still America. That said, if I have to pay to get one, I would sure rather pay the extra to Shannon than somebody that is just trying to make a buck.
