After turning the acrylic trumpet yelper, I decided I'd do a delrin trumpet yelper, too. Compared to the acrylic, the delrin was easy work. This call checks all the boxes. The only thing it needs is some turkey blood on it. It's already boxed up for me to send it to it's new home.
Slick!
Fine looking trumpet..

Very nice Marvin!
Sweet looking horn
Mighty fine looking horn Marvin!
Love the Delrin. Nice job on this call.
One delrin trumpet yelper led to another.....and I'm in the doghouse for a while...LOL!! Delrin makes such a mess; and regardless how much I try not to track it in the house I still do. After I built the first delrin trumpet yelper above, I received a request to build another one. The picture really doesn't show the true colors of the mouthpiece, which actually is black and red.....not brown. I like the combination.
This isn't delrin....I had to give that a rest....LOL!! This is stabilized double dyed amboyna burl, and it is on it's way to Missouri. This one is going to get some turkey blood on it.
You are certainly making a lot of nice calls lately. That is a fine looking caller.
Beautiful calls Marvin!!
Thank you all for the compliments!! I have a significant inventory of trumpet yelper wood blanks I need to use up....LOL!!!
