Fill me in guys. Who's still hunting?
Tennessee is open to the 25th, but the hens are nesting, I haven't heard a gobble or seen a gobbler in a week, and the only sound is the cicadas. A cool snap is coming in a few days before the season closes that I hope will get the boys fired up again.
We aren't going to be able to catch the Boring 20's, but with a couple of upgrades we can still snag 2nd or 3rd place.
So get on out there and choot 'em!!!
Again, who's still hunting?

Well guys, it's exceedingly unlikely that were going to win, so let's try to place high. We're currently in 4th, but 2 or 3 upgrades can get us to second or third. Those who are still hunting let's get some upgrades guys!!

I think I'm done.  All I have is a Pa tag and not looking like I'll get up there again.  A little birdie told me one of our team members killed today so we'll see if that helps.

I'll be going all the way here. Ny ends the 31st. I have tags for Nj,Pa and Ny.

Season is open in Idaho til the end of the month. My trip last week was 3 days of rain. Birds were high pressured and literally would move away with any calling. Idaho ain't what it used to be.  Stopped in a restaurant and the owner said they've never seen so many turkey hunters from out of state.  He had to take a breath when he listed the states....Florida to Maine... pretty much if they hunted Easterns, they were here too.
Private spot I had owners passed and kids split it up and sold out.
I'll need to change my ways in the future, no question about that.

Still hunting in WV. On my sixth day of hunting for the season due to work, vacation, family, etc. Mostly Fridays and weekends.

One week left after today.

Been rough, been out before day break most days and no tree gobbling and very little gobbling on the ground, if any. No hens heard either.

Should have had one the first day out but played it too aggressive. Been getting skunked since then.

I've got 1 week left, and half of the time it's going to be raining. This has been the wettest spring I've ever experienced. But I've got some hunting to do. :fud: :turkey:

I'm done for the season. We're in full blown baseball mode now.
