Been kind of MIA gentlemen, I apologize, with three kids playing baseball/softball and hunting as much as I can I've been away from my phone for the most part.
I killed a bird last week and we brought it off the mountain and left it on my friend's porch while we went after one for him. Unfortunately the neighbors dog got it and ate most of the breast and beard.
I got some good weather today and got on a bird, took some work and a lot of walking but I finally got him to break from his hens and cross the drainage we were in. This is only the second bird it probably 40 I've killed in this area that you could hang from his spurs, the terrain is so steep and rocky they are mostly worn down to less than an inch. Awesome bird congrats on that gobbler. For some strange reason dogs like turkey beards Wildspurs dog got me.
Congrats ! That tough having the dog next door get your other bird. This one scored well.
