I ran across one of these H.S. Strut chokes for my mossberg 835 recently. It's the first time of ever seen or heard of one marked labeled as .725 dia. It's also not blued like all the other H.S Strut chokes. It's unfinished stainless basically and designed like the older originals. Anyway, I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone remembers these or maybe has tried one in the past? I'm curious what it'll do with lead #4's in my gun. The ported .695 Undertaker does pretty good with #4's and I also picked up a .705 Undertaker just to shoot a few through.
It's a waterfowl choke and will shoot similar to your factory Full choke .
Buck Gardner promoted them back in the day before they were discontinued years ago.
Thank you for the info. That never even crossed my mind. Lol
