Have a NEF Handi gun with 2 barrels, a .410 and a 28 gauge. Who threads these with a thread pattern other than Tru Choke thread pattern? I know Rose Action will do the .410 in Winchoke but they dont do any 28 gauge.
I have used this company for custom work. They made me new firing pins for an old pederson O/U when no one else would touch it. https://www.ahlmans.com/gunsmithing.html
Briley
Called Briley and they said they "May" be able to do a factory thread pattern but I would have to send barrel in for them to examine. I asked what internal and external diameter it needs as my gunsmith can measure it and determine if it is a likely candidate before the 2 way shipping hassle and charges but they insisted I send it in. Not interested in their thin wall thread pattern as choke options plummet then.
Just mailed the .410 barrel to Rose Action Sports to get Invector threads cut into the barrel. Will just have to figure out another option on the 28 Ga barrel eventually.
Deadbuck have you tried Black River Precision? Vic Kauffman can get that done for you. He's doing a Remington 870 and putting the REM choke thread in it for my 28 gauge.
I'd check with SumToy. Not sure if he does 28s but I would assume he can.

I just got off the phone with Vic and he says he can do 20 gauge, not 28. Did you mean to say he did a 20 gauge for you?
Briley threaded my 28ga 870 barrel with their thin wall system and then made me a .520 "turkey" choke to go with it.
It does really good but it's no Indian Creek. I've killed several birds with the gun, but it sucks to know it could be doing a lot better
I have read where a couple guys had Briley thread their 28ga barrel with Remington threads or something more common. I would die on that hill if I had to do it again. They told me they couldn't do anything but their thin wall system, but I really think it depends on who you talk to that day
Briley is really expensive and they take forever. If there was any other option for 28ga threading I would go with someone else, but when I had mine done that was my only option
