For those with a single shot .410, what type of scope do you run on your gun? Likes and dislikes. Any help would be appreciated.
Look at a prism scope. They're shorter and don't look as silly on a small gun.
They're completely usable w astigmatism. Come in red or green. The reticle is etched and always there like a reg scope but if you need you can illuminate though I rarely use the illumination.
They come 1,2,3 and 5X. I like the primary arms glx2x. The slx series is cheaper if money an option. I've got vortex also but primary arms is way better. They have dif mount options (and reticle options)dependent how far back you'd like it. I'll never put a reg scope on a turkey gun again and I'm surprised more guys haven't tried these
My favorite is the discontinued vortex 1x another is the Hawke 1.5 x4 turkey scope. Bushnell 1.5 x4 are also nice they have a circle plex reticle. Hawke is illuminated.
+1 for the PA SLX Microprism. Battery not required to work. Like the reticle, size & weight.
How low can you mount these primary arms sights? They all show them with ridiculous high mounts for AR set ups.
Eye relief is obviously enough, but would love some details!
Weight is another concern.

total weight of my savage 301 w/ it on is 5.4lbs.
p5 of the manual (https://op1.0ps.us/pdf/opplanet-primary-arms-slx-1x-microprism-riflescope-manual-pdf.pdf)has mounting options, comes with all of them. most of the height of mine is from the 301 insanely high base, which I dont care enough about to replace.
