Title: Receiver Mounting Options - 870

I have an 12ga 870 I've used a large red dot and a pic rail on for the past 10 seasons - I want to mount a Vortex Venom directly receiver to get the sight picture lower. What are my best options for mounting to my drilled/tapped receiver?


Here are the plates I've found that are compatible:

EGW Universal
Sumtoy
Burris Fastfire Mount - do any of these fit an 870 receiver?
GG&G
Burris Speedbead mount
Meadow Creek Rib mount - I don't want my dot so far forward
Truglo - steel and cheap, probably low quality

I am not familiar with the EGW, but prefer the Sumtoy over the others listed.

Meadow Creek has a new receiver mount too. Looks nice on his site.
