Title: SA 28 Factory Choke
Post by: Turkeystudent on December 27, 2024, 11:08:53 PM
I just got a Mossberg SA 28 and I have heard some fairly positive things about the factory choke. Do any of you have any pics or info you could share of patterns with factory choke and ammo?

The factory full shot a very huntable pattern in my SA-28. After market chokes will tighten up the pattern some but by no means necessary. No pictures of the factory full pattern, sorry.

Thanks. I don't want it screaming tight. I prefer kills inside 30 yards. The 40-50 yards is more of a "whoops" than anything. I want it nice and even, good coverage in 12"(ish) diameter at 40yards

Your factory full should be perfect for that.

Do yourself a favor and save some money. I tryed 2 aftermarket chokes in my sa 28 and the factory choke out preformed them.
