Im a bit confused
It was an externally adjustable grunt tube. It had 3 buttons or keys like a trumpet...and a length-adjustable tone tube.
The official name was the Hally Caller "Pied Piper Push Button Deer Call". The "flute" thing was what people nicknamed it.
