Longtime lurker here, especially this vintage gun section. Question for you. I have the Huntsman 58cal rig. Is it possible to still find a shotgun barrel to convert it. Can it even be converted. Thanks in advance.

Decided to leave the Huntsmans as is, a patched round ball shooting, deer killing machine. ;D Just aquired an H&R 12ga Pardner. Hunted black powder with one just like it years ago. Buddy fabricated a push in breech plug to convert it. Set screw screwed into barrel to keep from blowing out the back on a hang fire. Worked like a charm. We mainly deer hunted these guns with a HOT load of 00 buckshot. Extremely deadly as "buggy" and "boat" guns.
