Title: ATI Cavalry .410
Post by: Rallen21 on April 01, 2024, 07:31:39 PM
I'm planning on taking my daughter turkey hunting for the first time this spring. I have an ATI .410 o/u that I want her to use. The gun came with 5 chokes. The top barrel has a mod choke in it and the bottom has an improved choke. I'm going to be shooting Fed hwt tss out of it. I'm wondering which chokes you guys think I should use for each barrel?? I'm hoping the stock chokes will work well and I won't have to buy one. Obviously I will need to test the patterns but I'm wondering if I should start just start with a full choke or try the improved and modified first?
Thanks

Thanks

Improved Modified and Full if you have them.

I like Mod and Full or Imp Cylinder and Extra Full.

With a child at the trigger, I'd say mod and full. That way if by some chance the wrong barrel gets fired you still have a chance at 30.
