Title: 1936 Model 12
Post by: Spring Creek Calls on March 30, 2024, 10:51:36 AM
This gun has transformed from a 32" full choke to a 26" choke tubed barrel. The 32" barrel mic'd out at .690 and was a duck killing machine. It also shot foster style slugs like a rifle out to and beyond 100 yards. It and my Remington 141 rifle in 32 Remington pretty much fed me thru my 20's. I've also added sling mounts, a neoprene butt pad and a .675 Briley extended choke tube. Several gobblers have succumbed to it before and after the transformation. It also has a TruGlo plain barrel sight. Not enough thread space between barrel and tube to keep a bead sight on.

The  Winchester Model 12 is the classic American pump gun for turkeys.
They go together like wild turkey and dressing.

Nice, good to see the old gun still doing work

Have that sight on an old S. shot, they really gather light in the morning
