is the core dense enough or are you putting in a liner

No liner! I like the softer sounds these make. Lots of trouble to make and have had several not make it. Only been able to finish 3. Something different keeps it fun.

mellow tones do good work in the woods.
I made one out of walnut, nice mellow sounding call
