Looking to go to Texas next year with the wife to get our Rios, where would you recommend , would like to know where you have personal experience because we have never hunted anywhere besides Tennessee and Kentucky.

Good Luck on anybody giving out their place they go! As tough as it is now with bird numbers decreasing, you will be lucky if anybody gives any names out.

Texas is becoming extremely difficult to find outfitters with large numbers of birds that allow plenty of opportunity. I know there are some still out there, but it was not great for me the past two years I went out there. I believe next year may be tough in many places because of the 2022 drought.

The thread is still up. It dates back to like April 4 or so. I stated some facts from an outfitter that I used this year past year.

Look around Crockett county for an outfitter, not much public land.
