Have a chance to get some of the older remington hevishot in 12 gauge 2 3/4 1 1/4oz 7.5.How well do you think these would perform as turkey loads?limitations?

I also have the chance to pick some of these shells up. They are on clearance at a store close to where I work. I would also be interested to know how these performed and what people think of these shells.

They would make a dandy load for those shy of recoil in the 12.  I bet 35-40yds would be very doable in the right choke without the punishment of even 2-3/4" 1.5oz loads.

I would think with the right choke they should work out to 35-40 yds
I used the "old"  3" Federal 2oz #7-1/2 lead load back in the day and killed birds 35-40 yds with no problem with "lead" believe it or not

I would be interested in those for duck hunting if the price is good. PM me with some prices if you don't buy them all.

Thanks
