The low post number, lack of a profile pic, and it being a book listed in the turkey call classifieds made me suspicious. I do not, however, have any personal reason to not trust the OP. Should be a requirement to have a little more faith in our fellow man. A quick look at this man's posts shows hes posted pictures of wingbones made from his son's kill before. Not everyone has the post count of Sir-Diealot but that doesn't mean they're automatically a scammer.
And yes I've read the rules and know what happens out there, but let's not let the few bad apples ruin our perception of people in a sport that's filled with a majority of fine people.
Excuse me if i did something incorrect. I have been on this site for many years as Bencattin until my computer crashed and I could not get that user name to work. I will leave it up to the Mods and remove the post if required.
I'm on here everyday, but very rarely post unless I'm looking for a call or selling a call. Some folks have a lot to say but could benefit from saying less and listening more.

Well yes and no, there is a lot of scamming going on everywhere so a new member with low post count is an unknown. odds are they are just like us, but it's better to have some rules and keep the classified open
Someone like Ben1100 whose been here 4plus years with quality posts, common sense would be it's doubtful he's been waiting for years just to spring a 100.00 scam on us.
I hope He sticks around

It's not judging just on a post or 2, the 100 quality posts is set in place for the time it takes to accumulate them , hopefully eliminating fly by night scammers.
It takes time to trust people, take paboxcall for example, it took me 3 years before I would lend him lunch money, now he's up to a credit limit of 7.00

That should be rule #1 on a list of rules somewhere. Maybe call that list "new classified rules 2019" or something.
Everybody being forced to use PayPal smacks of communism and Big Brother.
So your going to punish the people that aren't a problem, instead of just following the rules that have been working, sounds just like what is going on in the country now.

Funny watching this thread. Yup give a new guy a chance. Not sure where he should have posted this either but haven't looked for a literature area. I do also have his book but Theo Gaus editions. When I figure it out I will post them. Good luck this spring everyone!!!$
Stick around, get the post count up, work within the rules. That shows character in most cases to me. Now in this case it sounds like he lost his old account, if that could be collaborated then I could understand maybe letting him sell but then that would open a slippery slope for others coming in and saying "Well you let him, why not me?" which could open all kinds of problems.
I hope you stay, nobody wants you to go, just work within the rules. I have lost accounts before, it is a serious drag and I feel for you, I truly do, especially since you are trying to sell. I would rather error on the side of caution though. I wish you the best of luck both in your sales and in the upcoming season.
