Tried calling , but do you put base with single hole toward barrel or with slot toward barrel ? Thanks

Phone is starting to get crazy.  Turkey season coming and every one got them new turkey gun for Christmas.

Thanks--my gun is not a xmas gun--i am just slow -been thinking about a red dot since last season !
