Neighbor up the road shot a 31 lb gobbler this opening day morning, 10.5" beard and 1-3/8" spurs. Biggest bird to come out of this area in quite awhile.

WOW! I can't fathom 31 lbs seeing how the avg gobbler where I live is generally 18 lbs!

Giant bird, I wish I had a scale I shot a tank in Iowa yesterday, definitely would be in my top 3 heaviest!
