My nephew took his spring break to come down to NC from Rhode Island by himself just to turkey hunt with his cousins and uncle. After a few close calls we had 2 longbeards come to a strut decoy in a field . 15 yards
11 1/4 beard
1 - 1/16 spurs
23 lbs 5 oz
This was his second year hunting with us on spring break and I can bet you it won't be the last (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220421/45b9f5de983107bb868f7141f3d27f97.jpg)

Congrats to the young man, guess it was the "Lucky hat". Looks like things are heating up down there for you. Is this all off new property?

Definitely the hat!!! ;D ;D ;D
this is one of four property that we hunt. First time we went there this year. Scouted it a few weeks ago before season and hear one gobble really far away but this morning they were right smack in the middle os the property. Just two longboards no hens.
Congrats to the young man!
Nice Looking Bird!
