Title: Stoeger help
Post by: compton30 on April 09, 2022, 09:24:22 PM
My old man has a Stoeger M3000 from probably. '06-'07. It isn't drilled and tapped. I want to get him a saddle mount for it because he uses it for shooting birds over my dogs in the fall. He doesn't want it drilled and tapped for a Pic Rail. Does anyone know where I could get him a saddle mount? Any help would be so so greatly appreciated

Not sure about a saddle mount but maybe a meadow creek mount could be a good option.

This looks like it would work perfectly. We won't be adding loctite as it isn't a dedicated turkey rig but I think this is the answer. Or an answer unless someone has something better

There is a meadow creek for a burris listed in the Misc Gun Related classified.  FYI

Has anyone had experience with how well it holds zero with 3-1/2s or after being removed and reinstalled?

I have a saddle mount on one of my 870s but the rib mount seems way better for a non-dedicated turkey gun.
