I have the remington 1187 shurshot with a .660 jellyhead. Im thinking hevi 13 mag blend or just plain 7's. but do you think the 7s have enought ehind them to make good kills at 50 yds. thanks guys
ANYBODY?
yep sure will, multiple people killed birds with the 3-2-7's last year at distance over 40yds, since you have the .660 jelly head i would go for the 7's, that choke and load combo are a match made in heaven, your pattern will fall apart before the pellets lose killing potential/power, good luck Zack

Yep what he said......
#7's definitely
thanks guys
Go the straight 7's route and don't look back. You will get a lot denser patterns vs the blends and with a good choke should be good to at least 55yds.
flip a coin. you will be a winner either way :icon_thumright:
I don't like blends but would go with 6 in heavy.
But that is not what you asked.
I killed a bird last year at 55 yards with the 3 1/2 in 2 1/4 oz #7's
just ordered the7s cant wait till spring
i shot the 3.5" mag blends last year and i am switching to the 3-2-7's this year, i can get better patterns with way less recoil
