I'm probably going this route next season.  Is there any reason to run a sight protector on the meadow creek mount?   Is there any difficulty or issues with using a sight protector with the mount?

Thanks

I don't use the protector on mine but I don't see any reason why it couldn't just slip on the FF3

What about on a narrow ribbed shotgun like my Stoeger 3500 Turkey gun? It's rib is only about half as wide as the one on my Mossberg 935 turkey gun. I wonder if it'd be stable enough at such a narrow width to clamp onto.

Sorry for the delay I just saw your question.  The mount comes with different size spacers for different width ribs.
