Title: Winchester 1300 stock fit
Post by: Borden811 on March 09, 2022, 07:35:14 PM
Last year I picked up a 12ga 1300 turkey. Matte receiver and 22" matte barrel, camo synthetic stocks. The buttstock is proud to the metal where it meets the receiver by about 1/8 on each side. Drives me nuts when holding the gun and calling in a bird. I bought a second camo synthetic stock set, and it fits the same. Recently picked up a brown laminate stock set and it also fits the same. Are they all like this? Is there an easy fix for it if so?

I have one camo synthetic, and (2) of the NWTF laminate stock 1300's. I will vouch that the butt stock fit is not perfect. It must be a trend with them I guess...They are great Guns though, love them.....
