Title: Benelli Steady Grip repair??

Got a M1 Super 90 Steady Grip with damaged rubber grip. Saw where you can get the rubber grip from Midwest Gun Works for $25.00 but unsure how the old one comes off and the correct procedure and glue to get the new one on?

I believe they are a press fit, but have read or heard they are a bear to get on. Kind of like putting a grip sleeve on a Glock handgun but twice as bad....
