Title: Work Trip To Omaha, NE
Post by: jpc1317 on April 21, 2021, 04:33:53 PM
Good afternoon y'all, My company has recently acquired some new branches in Nebraska and I've been spending a little time out there. They have asked me to go back which will cut my turkey season in Alabama short...  My question to the board is, are there a huntable population of turkeys in that part of the state or sorrounding areas?  I've never hunted turkeys outside of the great state of Alabama so any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you're not comfortable posting a response in the open, please PM me.

Note: I am blessed that my organization knows that Turkey hunting comes first this time of year so I can tell them "no". But if there is a decent population, it would be neat to try mad get on an out of state bird.

Tell 'em you'll go back to Nebraska next month.  That way, you can finish your Bama season first, then hunt the Husker birds in May!!
