Title: Browning Turkey Choke
Post by: siyakadog on February 13, 2011, 10:20:52 AM
Does anyone know the constrictin on a Browing Turkey X-Full invector choke.  I have shot many turkeys with it anywhere from 7yds - 60yds, last year at 25 yds it totallky blew the pattern!  I shot a turkey and I had head shot but had pellets all over the breast and feet, came home and patterned it again and the pattern is true shotgun- all over the place!  I shoot 1 3/4 hevishot 3.5' #5's.  Same shell for the last 10 yrs

When did you clean it last?

It was clean, but I am thinking I should do a polish job and deep clean.  I have never had the gun do that to me before.

Is this standard invector or inv plus. The inv plus x-full that comes with some guns (has a few port holes at very end) is .694 or .697

i'll try to polish it and see what happens, i hate to change something that has wrked so well.
i hate to buy a bunch of chokes, but the hevi-shot chokes have been tempting.
