I'm a new Turkey hunter and just bought a 12 gauge Franchi Affinity 3 with a 26" barrel. I bought a box of Hevi-Shot Magnum Blend 3" 2oz 5,6,7 shot. I'm curious as to what Turkey choke I should get. I've been told the stock chokes for my specific gun are hard to beat for the price. What are your thoughts? Thanks!
Try an Indian Creek .665 or Jebs or Sumtoy .660-.665 for starters. All are good chokes and the companies will work with you to get you the best choke for the load you are going to shoot....you can contact Sumtoy on Facebook or by phone (Jebs also) and they will be more than happy to provide you a place to start with their chokes....
Thanks! I'll look into those, hoping to get my first bird this year!
I run the exact same gun with a Jebs 660 and Nitro Companys 8x9
