Has anyone mounted a red dot to any of the Benellis that have a carbon fiber rib on the barrel? Several of the models do not have a metal rib and according to Benelli can not be drilled. My buddy and I were going to mount one to a Benelli this weekend and that issue came up.
You would want to mount your optic to your receiver not the rib.

A Meadow creek mount may work and does not require drilling.
