Title: Mississippi thunderstorm Gobbler

Buck got his second gobbler this storm after noon,   saw him (the gobbler ) in a field with his buddy( another longbeard)  talkd buck into going in a raining downpour,  Saw the 2 gobblers fight strut and gobble .    Buck got him at 30 steps with his 20 ga.    Fine hunt,   I used those Mother Lode mouth calls again.    Never seen a gobbler that fired up in weather that bad,  fine gobbler


9in. beard
1and 1/8 spurs.

sorry for the pictures not beign so great  we all looked like a drowned rat after all the storms and rain.

Congrats!  You can tell it was a wet one by the appearance of your hand in the second pic.  Looks like you had been swimming or soaking in a tub for awhile! :icon_thumright:
