Anyone tried this load yet? It's loaded with the 15g/cc #7 shot.
There was a post about them on one of the fb groups im in.Very unimpressive from what I saw. Too bad because I was hoping they would be as good or better than my beloved Fed HW's. But from what I've seen of the price and patterns of the Kent loads, I'll be switching to tss in my 20s when I run out of HW's
Well,if you don't wanna run out I have quite a bit of the 20 gauge 3"-1.5 oz.#7 shot if you're interested.
I posted up last year about them. Two or three guys bought them. They were getting heavyweight type patterns. No better no worse.

Do you recall what guns they were shot through?
No. Dont remember
I shot one round with a Carlson's .585 choke at 40-yds - not good and will need to find a different choke before squeezing $5 each time.
What gun did you shoot it through? Looking for my next load for an Affinity.

Good price.. Not a patter to be found here on OG. I'd like to know how they pattern as well.
Shot some of these yesterday in 870 21" barrel. Carlsons .575 and long beard .568 were best patterns. Nothing like TSS 9's but very comparable to heavyweight 7's. I have eight boxes of these and ten boxes of heavyweight 7's. Much cheaper and perfect for my type of hunting
If you don't mind me asking what was your numbers at 40.
To be honest I didn't count. Kept the paper so I'll get you a number. Going to change barrels and see what I come up with. My stock 26" barrel used to do 160-170 with the heavyweight 7's and this shorter barrel does not shoot as well as the longer barrel so I'm going to see if these loads do the same. But just as a guess I'm going to say they did 120-130 in the 10. I'll let you know.
Thank you sir 120 to 130 is good at 40yds,I very seldom shoot past 30 yds.
