Title: My Trulock and 3" 11-87 w the Fed HW #7
Post by: Fullfan on March 31, 2012, 08:38:46 AM
After reading about the Trulock choke made for the Fed HW #7, and talking to George Trulock I had to give his choke a test ride. And the 100% money back if you are not happy also helped.

My gun is a 11-87 sps-t with a 21" barrel that has been  cleaned.  The first shot was at 40 yds. The paper I shoot at is 23" wide and 41" long. For some odd reason my POI was left several inches. I will hunt this combo if I can get the POI corrected. ( I shoot with the standard rem beads)

The second shot was with the the Fed HW #6 shot, and it knocked over my backer when the shot impacted.
The range was 27 yds.

Looks good. I really like mine and it seems to throw a cosistant pattern. At 20 yds all but 43 were in the 10inch circle. George Trulock is a great guy to deal with i have talked to him several times over the past few years. He does have a great warranty.Lee
