My 10 yr old son got him a jake on Saturday.  He really wanted a tom this year and 5 more feet he would have had him but Mr. Tom caught a little bit of his movement and didn't finish but my boy gladly took the jake

Awesome! My oldest will be 8 next year. I'm going to set up a single shot .410 for him and get him on the gun a lot this year and hopefully he will want to turkey hint next spring. Congrats to you and your son.
