Title: Aloha from west of The West
Post by: JoeA on May 18, 2018, 03:23:01 PM
Hi gang! I'm new here on this site. I have been a regular in HNI HuntingNet for a good while. My main turkey grounds are the public areas of Mauna Kea, on the Big Island. Here's my last 2 birds from '18 and '17.

I love trading info and learning from fellow "fan addicts". My boom-stick is a Win 1300 with a new Burris reflex red-dot sight. I just got a Carlson's XR choke tube. Before I had a Comp-N-Choke XX full stuffed in the muzzle.

Want info on hunting in Hawaii? I'll help you find the info.

Hey Joe,...welcome.  Coincidentally, I hunted the big island last spring (2017) at Mauna Kea and PuuWaawaa.  Had a great time there.  Would love to go back some time, but not sure I will ever get to.  We met a couple of other Hawaiian hunters there,...really nice guys that pointed us to some good hunting spots.

Anyway, good to see someone from Hawaii here.
Jim
