What surface do you prefer to cut on? Glass/crystal, aluminium, etc.?
Thanks

I like crystal the best. But then again I like them all!!
i like them all,if i had to pick just one, probably aluminum.
I like glass and ceramic.
If you're looking to locate especially, I like aluminum than Crystal/glass
For me, ceramic and crystal makes the best surface to produce cuts on. I also think crystal makes the most realistic sounding calls
Slate with a Quaker boy carbon striker. Slate with Dymonwood or slate with Hickory( angle tip)
:gobble: SLATE
Was curious to see how this was panning out. Many good choices out there. Cool, I don't have to stop picking up new calls to try now! It is kind of situational, and you can do it with many calls. Good stuff.
IMO crystal.

You can do it with any call.
to get that nice little higher pitched cut copper ...couple of quick cuts and a raspy yelp gets them goblin every time
Use my slate and will switch it up to a glass every once in a while.

I would listen to Sadler he may know what he's talking about I use a slate with Paduk or crystal mistress with woodhaven strike 3

Titanium with a katalox or ebony striker.....titanium is very "grippy" and makes it easy to cut.
Anodized aluminum or crystal
Without a doubt, copper.
Sadler's dead on but I will say his hybrid crystal has great hollow clucks and cutts
