Good afternoon gentlemen,
This is Bob's son Mark Kozleuchar. This morning my dad woke me up for work wished me a good day and not to long after I left he passed of a sudden major heart attack. I would just like to thank all the members of this forum for being part of my dads story and more importantly mine and his hunting story's. The memories some of the calls have made are surreal. Just remember never leave on bad terms, be kinda and make the most of ever moment with everyone you care about. It's crazy how fast this life moves and turns. Once again thank you guys for bringing my dad happiness and joy.
Thanks and have a good day,
Mark

At 66 years old I do what I can to stay in good shape. I walk , visit the gym and work around the family property. I love hunting the mountains and plan on continuing doing it for many more years, I would truly feel terrible if I was forced to quite hunting because I could not physically continue due to being out of shape.
As soon as I read that he had passed, his post from above from back in March came to mind. I remember reading about how he walked and went to the gym and still hunted hard in the mountains. The last time I talked with him, he had just gotten a cow horn yelper and sent me a sound file of it. I pray that he scored with that call during his last spring season. I wish that the Lord had given him another 20 years to walk those ridges with his son and friends. I can only imagine how he will be missed. Prayers for his family tonight.
Sorry to hear this, prayers for you and your family, R.I.P Bob...
Mthunter1 I also went back and read his post and that one stood to me also.
So sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Very sorry for your loss. Prayers for you and your family in the coming days.
I'm very sorry for your loss. I'm glad that you have so many memories - specifically hunting memories - because you'll find that you can get very close to him in the outdoors.
I lost my father almost exactly like you have - in November 2020. You've given some good advice - we don't get to choose when things happen.
My father wasn't a turkey hunter, but he taught me the basics of hunting and respect for wildlife and the outdoors, for which I'm eternally grateful. I don't want to make this about me - but even without a treasure trove of outdoor memories and zero turkey hunting memories - I am most connected to him when turkey hunting. It must be the solitude and the deep peace of the places where turkeys live.
Keep an open mind and look for him. You'll find him.
Prayers for you and your family, sorry for your loss.
Very sorry to hear of your loss, he sounds like he was a great guy :cross2:
