Well boys, the shotgun toting part of my Georgia season is over. I'll be calling and filming for others from here on out. Unfortunately, this bird was not an upgrade either. All my turkeys were very similar in size this year. This bird had 7/8 and 1 inch spurs, with an 8.75 inch beard, and weighed 17 pounds on the dot. Caught him alone and shot him at roughly 10:35am after not hearing a single gobble since daylight. Persistence pays off. God is good my friends.

Thanks, as always I had a ball filling my tags. Not ready to quit either. If not for the covid situation I'd be looking to find some hunting land in Alabama, since I'm only a half hour from eufaula. However I'm not sure if that's even allowable at this point with these shelter in place orders. Just got to try and go call for friends when I can. Good luck to y'all on the rest of the season, sorry my birds weren't any big contribution. Y'all be safe.
