Still no bird, but sure had some fun today!

My luck this spring sure has been bad. Still unable to get on some birds. Found where they were roosted yesterday, but wasn't close, and I don't think they saw my decoys. Got in close today, and they were on the other side of the river! Augh! Did get this hen to come into my Dave Smith dekes. It was really cool how she reacted with them, pecking and trying to beat it up. The vocals were awesome! After awhile she calmed down, and stuck around for 1 1/2 hours. She would wander off a little, and I would grab my pocket call, and mimic her, and she would come right back. At one point, she was 5 or 6 steps away. Pretty cool.
