Title: Youth 870 & SSX

Picked up a TruGlo SSX and another couple boxes of Federal Heavy Weight 7's (lot 5Q37UK147) to run through my youth 870 since I wasn't pleased with the pattern my Sumtoy throws. Looks like I found my hunting combo. I got 161 in 10" at 40 yards and the pattern was very even throughout. Shot the same load through the Sumtoy and got 136 in 10" at 40 and it too was fairly even.

My same 870 shoots similar patterns with fed 7s. I polished the gun though and now it's a little off.

That same set up will shoot hevi 13 7s in the 170s to.
